My name is Nora Guerrero and I have been taking care of the elderly for over 15 years. My knowledge about their care has broadened from many completed courses, by keeping up-to-date on everything that pertains to this field and, most of all, from many years of experience.

I believe and know that caring for the elderly takes very special people, very special skills and, especially, very special feelings. I am a firm believer that every elderly person deserves to be treated with love, respect, dignity and compassion.

In my many years of providing this service I have learned that no matter what the physical or mental condition of an elderly person, they all respond to one special feeling -- love. Anyone who is in the field and cannot combine this special feeling with their daily task of caring for an elderly person cannot be a special care giver. I feel very special and rewarded when I get a smile or hug or compliment from my residents or their family, and there is nothing in this world that I enjoy doing more that caring for the elderly.
